Working Principle
The basic principle of dry desulfurization is amethod of oxidizing H2S to elemental sulfur or sulfur oxides by oxygen. The other method is the special iron oxide absorption method (MT series special iron oxide desulfurizer), that is, the active ferric oxide in special iron oxide desulfurizer is used to absorb hydrogen sulfide in the gas and convert it into ferric sulphide, thus removing hydrogen sulfide (at present, this method is mostly used). The composition of the dry process equipment is that afiller is filled in atank, and the filler layer can be iron oxide desulfurizer, activated carbon desulfurizer, etc. It is better to use iron oxide desulfurizer, so the sulfur content of desulfurizer is large and the cost is low. At alow velocity, the gas passes through the packing layer of the tank from one end, and the hydrogen sulfide is oxidized to sulfur or sulphur oxide or converted to iron sulfide.
