High-performance breaking buffer can markedly reduce the overshoot and rebounding amplitudes of the moving contact of a vacuum circuit breaker in breaking, thus avoiding the loss of mechanical endurance due to partial over fatigue of vacuum interrupter bellows resulting from moving contact overshoot.
