The module supports various positioning,navigation and industrial applications including autonomous GPS, SBAS (including WAAS, EGNOS,MSAS, and GAGAN),QZSS, andAGPS.DL-1616N-GCMF-Ssimplifiesthedevice'sdesignandcostbecauseofembeddedPatchAntennaandLNA. Furthermore,DL-1616N-GCMF-Snotonlysupportsautomaticantennaswitchingfunctionwhichcanachieveswitchingbetweenexternalactiveantennaandinternalpatchantenna,butalsosupportsexternalactiveantennadetectionand shortprotection. ThedetectionandnotificationofdifferentexternalactiveantennastatuswillbeshownintheNMEAmessage includingexternalactiveantennaconnection,opencircuitforantennaandantennashortage.Sohostcan query the external active antenna status timely and conveniently. EASYtechnologyas the key feature of DL-1616N-GCMF-Sis one kind ofAGPS. Capable collecting and processing allinternal aidinginformation like GPS time,Ephemeris, Last Position,etc.,theGPS moduledelivers a veryshort TTFF in either Hot or Warm start.DL-1616N-GCMF-Smodule is a SMD type module with the compact 16mm x 16mm x 6.9mm form factor. It can be embedded in your applications through the 12-pin pads with 2.54mm pitch. It provides necessary hardware interfaces for connection with the main PCB.The module is fully RoHS compliant to EU regulation.The power consumption is measured in the opensky with internal patch antenna.
