Wuhan Gewei Electronic Technologies Co., Ltd. Was established in 2003. Located in Wuhan, Optical Valley, Wuhan Gewei covers an area of 20, 000 square meters, and set up a sub-company in New Jersey in 2011 and share an office in Oulu, Finland, with employs approximately 400.

Gewei focus on RF technology, mobile communications product development, production, sales and service of high-tech enterprises. 4 categories of product line: RF power amplifier product line, RRU & RRH product line, network optimization and passive product lines, networking product lines; Mobile communication products include power amplifiers, remote radio unit, designed TETRA private network equipment, network optimization equipment, production and marketing services, communication and information systems integration and network services. Customers include ZTE, Alcatel Lucent, Datang Mobile, China Putian, Eastern Communications, China Mobile and China Unicom.

The company obtained ISO9001 quality management system certification, ISO14001 environmental management system certification. In 2013 passes the OHSAS18001 occupational health and safety and production safety certification. In 2012 the company started ERP (SAP) system. In 2014 passed the CMMI3 certification.
