Anionic Polyacrylamide Polymer is used for water treatment, mining, paper mills and sugar production.Polyacrylamide (abbreviated as PAM) is apolymer(-CH2CHCONH2-) formed fromacrylamidesubunits. It can be synthesized as a simple linear-chain structure orcross-linked.Benefits:
High performance high molecular weight anionic polyacrylamideExcellent for use in wastewater and effluent treatment applicationsIeal for mechanical dewateringgravity settlingas a coagulant aidwater clarificationfiltrationphosphate removalan aid in Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) unitsReduces need for inorganic saltsAchieves high solids removalEconomical to useFeatures:1) Appearance: White granule
2) Molecular weight: 5 - 22 million minimum
3) Granule: 20 - 100 mesh
4) Solid content: 88% minimum
5) Hydrolyzing degree: 10 - 20%, 20 - 30% or 30 - 50%
6) Dissolving time: 1 hours maximum (10° C)
7) Insoluble: 0.5% maximum
8) Monomer free: 0.05% maximumApplication & Dosage Information:Prepare a stock solution of Anionic polyacrylamide of up to 0.5% concentration via an automated make down unit or as a batch.
Allow the solution to age for 30 to 60 minutes for maximum effectiveness.
Then use good quality make up water to give secondary dilution of at least 10:1 (clean water to stock solution). Then add as required.
AVOID the use of centrifugal pumps.
It is always advisable to do Jar test before bulk test, please refer to MSDS for more details.
