The CL-3003 type computer cantilever beam impact testing machine is mainly used for the determination of the impact toughness of hard plastics (including plate, pipe, plastic heterosexual material), reinforced nylon, glass steel, ceramic, cast stone, electrical insulating material and other nonmetallic materials. It is an ideal test equipment for testing material properties in chemical industry, scientific research institutes and colleges.

The testing machine is composed of fuselage, impact pendulum, sample support, measuring device, control mechanism, etc.
1. Fuselage: It consists of a crossbeam, an angle positioning mechanism and a leveler.
2. Impact pendulum: It consists of an upper connecting sleeve, a pendulum rod, a pendulum, a positioning block, an impact knife blade, etc. The pendulum energy consists of one main pendulum and three sets of counterweight weights. Three sets of counterweight weights are 5.5J, 11J and 22J, respectively. Users can choose different counterweight according to their needs.
3. Sample support: It consists of clamp support and clamp mouth. Before the test, the appropriate pendulum energy can be selected according to the sample requirements (test type).
4. Control mechanism: It consists of release mechanism and handle. The mechanism fixes the impact pendulum at 150 degrees and automatically drops the weight.
5. Measuring device: It consists of a digital acquisition system. The energy consumed by the specimen after impact is shown. The impact energy is calculated by the following formula:
E=Pd (COS beta -cos alpha)
In the formula: Pd - shock white moment (constant)
The measured value (constant) of the prelift angle of the Shock Pendulum
Beta - impact angle
In this experiment, the energy E value can be calculated as long as the elevation angle beta is measured. The digital display system of this testing machine is designed according to the above principle, so the final data can be read out directly.
