The detail walking steps of the bridge girder erection machine are as follows.
Step 1 Preparation before walking: connect the temporary bracing, the two trolleys are moved to the rear of the bridge erecting machine and connected with the main girder, the upper part of the front supporting leg is anchored to the lower chord of the main girder, Use the hoist or other connector to tighten the front leg with the bridge abutment or the installed beams, lower the back legs.
Step 2 Jacking up the front legs, raising the back legs, use lifting trolley to move the middle legs near the front legs, adjust the middle legs to a suitable position, transport the girder carrier to the lower part of the bridging machine and connect with the main girders, put away the front leg and back legs, this moment, the girder launcher isplaced on top of the middle legs and girder carriers, then it has the conditions oflongitudinalmoving.
Step 3 Remove the anchors of the front leg and the lower chord of the main girder, make use of the power of the mid-leg traveling mechanism and the girder carrierto make the girder launchermove longitudinally and the front leg of the girder to the predetermined position of the previous pier, Raise up the the front legs andmake the main beam of the beam launcherhorizontal, Fix and the front leg and the cap of the pier.
Step 4 Remove the front leg and thebridgeabutment or beam plate connection, use thehanging wheel offront leg to letthe front legs move vertically to theposition ofguidebeam front leg, Anchor the front leg and the toppier, put away the guide beam Front leg, ready to longitudinal move the main beStep 4 Remove the front leg and thebridgeabutment or beam plate connection, use thehanging wheel offront leg to letthe front legs move vertically to theposition ofguidebeam front leg, Anchor the front leg and the toppier, put away the guide beam Front leg, ready to longitudinal move the main beam again.

Step 5 again using travelling mechanism of the middle leg and the power of girder carrier to longitudinally transport the main girders of the girder launcher to the position , as shown in the figure, the upper part of the front leg anchored to the lower chord of main beam, the upper of middle leg anchored to the lower chord of main beam, jack-up the back legs, remove the connection of girder carrier and the main beam , this time, erecting machine has the conditions of erection.

Step 6 Use the beam carrier to transport the concrete beam to the rear of the bridge erecting machine, change and use the former trolley, and use the former trolley and rear girder carrier to move forward to the lower of rear trolley, the former trolley and the rear trolley move forward carring the beam, the girder carry back to the beam field and continue to carry the beam.


Step 7 The former and rear trolley move to the install poisiton with beams , drop and retract the back legs, transverse move and let the beam to the position.
If install the side beam, repeat step 6, when to to the position,place the side beam temporarily on the top of the pier, lift the side beam using the side beam hanger, and transverse move to the place carring the beam.
