8-station rotating-disc-type centrifugal casting machine is composed of an annular rotary table, 8 cantilever-type centrifugal casting main engines (including mould cooling equipment), a set of mould automatic painting equipment, a set of automatic pouring device, a set of mould cleaning device, a set of casting crosswise device and electrical control system. The stable motion, compact structure and high automation degree are the best feature of whole machine.
The control system adopts PLC control. The main engine combines the AC variable frequency motor with the AC VVVF (variable voltage and variable frequency) to compose the stepless speed control system, with the speed regulating being stable and the regulating scope being wide. It adopts the touch screen to monitor the working status of the centrifugal casting machine, show the parameters of pouringprocess and machine failure warning information. The control system can be operatedeither manually or automatically.
The 8-station rotating-plate-type centrifugal casting machine is designed for 8 stations, with each station being responsible forone or several process motions. 8 working stations are distributed asfollows: one cleaning and end cap mounting station, one painting station, one paint drying station, one pouring station, three casting cooling stations and one end cover dismounting and part picking-up station. In the running process, specific process procedures are as follows: working station 1: mould cleaning-mounting the front end cap; station 2: painting; station 3: paint drying; station 4: pouring; station 5-7: casting cooling; station 8:end cap dismounting and casting take off.
It calls for two operators, with one taking charge of the end cap mounting and dismounting and the other being responsible forthe operation of the pouring device.

main engine
The main engines are obtained high-speed and stable as feature. The key factor of casting's qualityis whethertube molds are smooth running.Therefore, The more smooth running of the main engine is ,the less radial run-out of the tube molds in high speed,the more uniform wall thickness of cylinder liner is and the more stable the structure performance will be.
The main engine adopts cantilever structure with the bearing base adopting cast iron material, so it has a good shock absorption capacity. The main engine use ac frequency conversion motor and vector control converter. Riding wheelis rotated by V belt.So it ensures that the tube molds can be controlled with precise speed governing.Spindle braking system ensures the fast stop of the tube molds. So the productivity can be improved.
Rotary round table
8 station engines areevenlydistributed on the rotary roundtable.Each main engine is switched to different position by rotary round table.The rotary round table is controlled by AC servo.When rotating it is rapid,smooth and accurate position.Also the speed is adjustable.Cleaning system
Residual coatings in the inner wall of mold are cleaned rapidly.The cleaning bogie moves axial direction along the mold. On the cleaning bogie there is a spinning brush which clean the inner wall of mold.The brush can be changed to meet the different inner radius of mold. The cleaning device contains spraying nozzles and corresponding dust collector.Spray coating
It has excellent spray coating quality.The function of tube mold's inner coating: 1 reduce the impact of metal liquid on the tube molds

End cover and casting unloading device
The two motionsof unloading endcover and casting are completed on the unloading station. The working process is as follows: after the rotary table rotates to the ready place, and the mold stops rotating and brake locking, the end cover is unloaded by manual, and the unloading car will travel forward and the unloading claw reaches the unloading station, and the clamp distracts with the driving of tension cylinder and catches the inner wall of the cast, then, the unloading car will back off to pull out the cast and end cover onto the support of the cast, and loosen the clamp, and the unloading car backs off and leaves the cast on the tray, and the turnover mechanism will turnover onto the conveying unit of the cast (self-prepared).Tool for casting extraction
Casting extraction mechanism is controlled by servo and Pneumatic control system. So it is very accurate and reliable.It can extract the casting smoothly from the tube molds. The position and speed of the casting extraction can be set up and adjusted.Pouring system
Automatic pouring device is composed of pouring vehicle, pouring ladle, etc.
Pouring vehicle can serve two engines for pouring respectively.
The ladle's pouring speed can be adjusted.The automatic weighing device is used in pouring vehicle,which can ensure the consistency of the weight for each batch of cylinders. The weight of the molten iron in the ladle can be displayed on the big screen and the records can be printed.Electric control system
1 Electric control system is mainly composed of frequency conversion, servo driver, PLC, touch screen, control cabinet, LV electric component, buttons, indicator lights etc.The controlboxes and operating panels are set on the ground and the power and signal cables are introduced via trolley line to the centrifugal casting machine mounted on rotary workbench.
2 The technological parameters for no less than 20 kinds of castings are stored in touch screen and can be extracted conveniently.
3 The control system provides manual and automatic control modes that can be shifted to each other as per requirements. The manual mode is used for machine adjustment, while the automatic mode is for normal operation.
4 Each main machine can be shifted to off-line/on-line status during operation.
5 The control system is furnished with perfect safety measures like interlock, over-heat and over-load protection, in order to ensure its safety and uninterrupted production.
