Used these for several small mdf frames and found it far better to glue them in place with impact adhesive due to the fact that even with an adequately sized pilot hole the mdf tries to split.
The screws will be fine in standard timber frames I'm sure.
Slightly larger than I expected.
Just the job and far quicker than I'd get to home base!

Sturdy solid product. Screws are sharp enough not to need pre drilling in and these hold a canvas to the wall nicely. Arrived next day with prime at a very good price. Excellent! D rings lie nice and flat, which is what is needed for the picture to sit flat on the wall. The screws go nicely into the sides of every frames I have used, without coming out the other side. Lots of them too. You will need a bradal to start the holes for the screws.
