3D printing is one kind of rapid prototyping. It is a technology which based on digital model and uses metal or plastic to pile up raw material step by step. This technology is becoming more and more popular.
3D printing filament is a new type of high-tech printing material which is widely used in normal life. The main plastic material is ABS, PLA, PA etc. In the future, the technology will deeply affect people’s life just like the computer, then if you want something, you can print yourself which is more convenient and cheap. Now this technology is just started in developed countries such as USA, Rushia, UK etc. So it is a very moment to get into this area and get early investment, in the future this technology will drive a high-tech revolution.
3D filament extrusion machine can process different diameter filament. It can process ABS/PLA filament, PE/PP filament etc with different screw design. This line adopts PLC control system so that the tolerance is within 0.03mm. It is an ideal equipment to process 1.75mm and 3mm ABS/PLA filament. The screw can be taken and clean easily, so you can change the color easily. The water tank adopts two levels, one hot water and one cool water so that the filament can be controled quite round.
1.Produce process
I . Before produce extruding filament ,we will dry ABS and PLA for a enough time (3-5 hours).

II. Mix with colors masterbatch or colors powder, all which .

III.Adjust temperature and dragging rate , make filament diameter range at 1.6-1.8mm/2.8-3.0mm, roundness +/-0.05mm, each spool net weight 1kg+/-0.02kg

2.about waste & recycle
Much time you will find some black filament is too brittle, that added and mixed with some recycle and scrap after produced.
3.Productiong quality control
I. we have diameter laser device kits to control extruding rate on line, when diameter smaller or higher than accept range, the laser device kits will adjust the extruding rate higher or smaller to make diameter range at acceptable.
II.keep each record filament samples sent to customers, build a tracking able document.
III.when the filament put on shelf longer than half a year, please dry the filament again.
