Bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband who loves cereal. I love the look & ease of use. I was actually thinking of getting another one; as I thought it might be cool for other things like rice, panko, flour, etc. I like to cook, make lots of pizza dough & bake often. IF ANYONE HAS USED THIS FOR OTHER ITEMS... I'D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU. Update 2/13/14: I now purchased the second one for flours.. Works perfect! Will try to attach a pic.

I love my food dispenser. It is 7.5” D x 13” W x 16.3” H I have portion control with this because I use one twist when I have cereal. Each one is 17.5 ounces and a full box of cereal will fit.
It keeps food sanitary and no one can touch my cereal like when they used the box or bag. It is shatterproof and has a removable bottom for cleaning and it is to be hand washed and not dishwasher. It all is to be hand washed and towel dry with mild soap and water and rinse well.
It has a cap on each dispensers to keep the snack from falling out and so little kids don't twist it all out. The silver knobs are really cute. It
goes well with my Keurig because they have the same bottoms with the silver plates.
It can house Cereal like I use it for or oatmeal, nuts, rice candy all sorts of that and beans or pop corn.
I have bee wanting this dispenser for about 6 years and I saw a review on youtube and decided to get it. Glad I did.
This is a five star product for sure and I love it. I love the color because black goes with everything. I got a good price too!

I got this as a gift for my five year old son. He wants cereal all the time,and I thought this would be a good way to help him learn how to get it himself. It was simple to put together,just connect the pieces,after washing and drying first of course. It nicely fits a bowl or a small cup. There is a stopper under the cereal containers so none spills out when its not suppose to,and pops off easily when you want cereal. We've had no issue with the handle being hard to turn or any of our cereals not dispensing,which I was worried about when I purchased this.The silver 'slots/trays' at the bottom come off and go back on easily for washing. My son hasn't quite been getting his own cereal yet,although he does find this neat and really likes it. I'm glad I bought it,and will probably purchase more when we move and have more counter space. I chose red since it was his favorite color,but it looks nice,and not at all out of place with regular colored appliances and such. I like that we can have an open box of cereal,or two,and not worry about it going stale in the boxes since they don't close well,or spilling all over the place,again the boxes don't close well,and when a child wants to do it,it almost guaranteed. :)

I bought this for my granddaughter's snacks and she absolutely loves it! For those of you who have 2 or more children who will be using this on a constant basis, the entire dispenser is plastic and over time and with a lot of use, it may not have a very long life. But if you hold the bottom of the spout with your hand while you put the top lid on and teach your children - or even the grownups! - to do the same, you won't get that bending action and it will last longer. The food reservoir is PLENTY big enough for an entire box of cereal, and there is plenty of room for larger food items to be dispensed thru the fan-like blades that spin when you turn the knob. Very happy with the value of this item, and LOVE the red color! Thank you!

I am giving a five for now because it does come perfect and I put it together within 5 minutes. The only drawback is that the gap between the bottom part and the open end is not big enough to fix a large bowl. I wish I can adjust the height of the container to accommodate the size of the bowl I put underneath it.
