Aldehyde Resin A-81 is a kind of aldehyde polycondensation resin, which is colorless or yellowish.It is soluble in almost
paint solvents but not in water and compatible with practically all coatings raw materials, it is excellently yellowing-resistant.

Solubility
It is soluble in almost all paint solvents, such as aromatic hydrocarbons,alcohols,ketones,esters,but please note that it is
insoluble or have low solubility in water,in a completely non-polar solvents such as mineral oil,aliphatic hydrocarbons,
alicyclic hydrocarbons.
Application
Because of their excellent solubility and compatibility, A81 can be used in many types of ink/coating formulations.
Depending on the application, A81 improves the gloss, hardness, adhesion, and resistance to yellowing of coating.
Because of their good pigment wetting and very low solution viscosity, A81 can be used for the manufacture of pigment
pastes with high pigment content.
General Formulations:
It shall account for 5%-15% in general formulations,and it will be better less than 20%.In some coatings,A-81 resin will affect the
levels of adhesive,flexibility,or weatherability.If there are no specials requirements,5% can also be used directly as coating,printing ink,
paints as excellent additives.
