China Automatic CIP Clean System for Fermenter Tank

Clean in Place system is a critical equipment in bio-pharmaceutical in order to obtain GMP certification. It has become necessary supplementary equipment for the biological system due to its simple operation method and reliable washing quality. CIP system also can reduce working intensity as it can wash the bioreactors and pipelines without disassembling it. The cleaning effect can be quantifiable via conductivity measurement & automated program for feedback control. This can standardize the cleaning procedure more effectively & efficiently.

(a) The CIP Clean system consists of:3 units of stainless steel 316L CIP tanks each for alkali, acid and purified water1 unit of sanitary centrifugal pump is provided for circulating and mixing the alkali and acid solutions, and supply CIP solution to subjected tank. 1 unit of heat exchanger for heating up CIP solution2 units of PE tanks and reciprocating pumps for dosing of acid/ alkali stock solutions into the CIP tank1 unit of sanitary centrifugal pumps for CIP return/ drain1 unit of pressure gauge at CIP supply line to indicate the pressure in the line(b) Control System: The system is based on SIEMENS PLCControl cabinet is provided for the system, and the cabinet is mounted on the same skid with CIP tankIt is able to monitor and record critical CIP parameters: CIP supply temperature, CIP supply pressure. (c) Piping:All piping is self-drainingAll pipe is made of SS 316LThe piping is fitted with manual valves, flow switches, supply pump, drain pump, and pressure gaugeInternal surface of piping is Ra<0.8u and external surface is Ra<1.2u(d) Normal Procedure of Operation:Washing with Hot Water: 35-60oC, 10-15minutesWashing with Acid: normal temperature or 50-60oC, 10-20minutesWater flushing: 30-40oC, 10-15minutesWashing with Alkali: 60-70oC, 15-20minutesWashing with purified water: 40-50oC, 15-20minutes(e) The CIP procedure can be set on HMI touch screen of PLC control system, and can be operated automatically or semi-automatically.
