II. Structural Features
1. Powerful and effortless climbing
Being equipped with a Benz OM502 fully electric-controlled engine Allison and an Allison 6620 7-gear automatic gearbox, TLD 110 mining dump truck meets national III discharge requirements of off-road vehicles, is powerful, and can drive freely on steep slopes after being elaborately matched with a high-speed ratio driving axle.
2. Firm structure and stable bearing
A designed service lift is 10 years. Finite element analysis and structure optimization have been made for support of the whole machine frame, cargo box, axle body, and other important parts.
frame: a frame structure with a full-box section has an integral front bumper and a closed ring beam, and uses a high-strength plate welding technology. The joint part between a ring beam and longitudinal beam is made of high-strength alloy steel casting.
Carriage: it is equipped with a V-shaped floor of complete transverse box stiffener and an exhaust heating device, and can be supported by a detachable powerful cushion. The carriage body is made of a high-strength and high-hardness wear resistant steel plate.
TLD 110 mining dump truck is equipped with new-designed front and rear hydro-pneumatic suspension, a 25-tonnage front axle assembly, 45-tonnage intermediate axle and back axle, thickened engineering special tires, and can reach a full-load weight of more than 110 tons, ensuring stable bearing.
3. Reliable braking and safe operation
Front, intermediate, and back axles all use disc brakes to reach a braking torque of 250000N.m. As auxiliary braking devices, an engine exhaust brake and a hydraulic retarder ensure reliable braking performance. Strong engineering tire road grabbing helps a truck freely and safely stop or run.
4. Good traffic ability
In order to adapt road conditions in a mining area or on a loading platform, TLD 110 mining dump truck meets industry standards in ground clearance, approaching angle, and departure angle. Power configurations including engineering special axles and tires, a low speed, and a large torque provide super adhesion, driving force, and obstacle ability for TLD110 mine dump truck. Therefore, TLD110 mine dump truck can smoothly go across complex conditions including muddy, mining, and grassy lands, a maximum allowable climbing slope is not less than 30%.
5. Good comfortableness
All axles are equipped with hydro-pneumatic suspension with variable stiffness and have good cushioning and vibration reduction effect. Operation comfortableness is greatly improved and the service life of the parts in the power transmission system is also improved.
Full hydraulic steering is easy.
Double-seat and double-door design meets international standards and provides spacious interior space. Falling objects and rolling prevention design meets international cab standards. TLD110 mine dump truck is also equipped with a cooling and heating air-conditioning system, helping reaching a sealing and noise reduction effect; advanced seats; and two-point seat belts with the front and rear angle and height adjustable. The steering wheel angle can also be adjusted so as to ensure that the driver can control the vehicle in a comfortable sitting posture.
These applications greatly reduce the driver's strength and greatly improve comfortableness.
6. High cost performance and economic
The maintenance cost is greatly reduced based on the use of domestic matched devices, and the purchase cost and annual maintenance cost are equivalent to 1/3-1/4 of same types of foreign devices. With special technical design, TLD110 mine dump truck uses smaller tires than trucks in same tonnage, greatly reduce the purchase and replacement cost.
7. Environmental protection
A globally advanced electric-control engine is selected and meets national III discharge requirements of off-road vehicles in China.
8. Convenient maintenance
Main wearable parts can be purchased in general supporting factories and the maintenance technology is universal and the cost is low, since maintenance convenience has been considered in initial design.
III. Transport Capacity and Economy
1. Transport capacity calculation
Transport distance: 3 km.
Load: a rated load of 70 tons.
★ Average period of each transportation: 30 minutes (normal operation);
★ Effective working period each day: 20 hours (2 shifts); number of transport times: 40;
★ Transport weight each day: 2800 tons;
★ Transport weight each month: 70000 tons (30 days * attendance rate of 0.85 = 25 days);
★ Transport weight each year: 840000 tons (300 days)
2. Fuel consumption
According to statistics data during 3 months for tests in the mining area, the fuel consumption is about 0.025L/t.km, which is equal to fuel consumption of a wide-body dump truck and greatly lower than mine dump trucks in same tonnage.
3. Maintenance cost
Maintenance cost each month: 800USD;
Tire consumption: two tires are replaced each month (20 tyres each year) and each tire is 1200USD, so the cost for tire replacement is 2400USD each month, and the total maintenance cost is 2400USD.
