General description
Single conductor cable manufactured with a soft drawn tinned copper conductor, flexible construction, thermosetting ethylene propylene rubber insulation (EPR) and chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) jacket.
Main applications
Mining cables, W Type, are suitable for feeding dragging equipment or electric locomotives, where the cable is subject to constant flexing and rolling.

Maximum operation temperature: 90° C.
Soft drawn tinned copper conductor, flexible construction, in sizes from 8, 37 to 506, 7 mm2 (8 AWG to 1 000 kcmil).
Ethylene propylene rubber insulation (EPR) contributes to the cables flexibility.
Textile reinforcement jacket gives the cable a higher mechanical resistance.
Chlorinated polyethylene heavy duty outer jacket (CPE) is resistant to mechanical mal-treatment (tear and abrasion), oil, acids and alkalis.
No flame propagation characteristic.
