Product Description
The bolster absorbability tester (also known as the Bob water absorption tester, the Bobo water absorption meter, the water absorption tester, the surface absorbance tester, the paper surface water absorption meter, the water absorption meter) is mainly used for water absorption on paper and cardboard surfaces. Sexual measurements were tested using the internationally accepted Cobb test method.
The absorbability tester is designed according to the basic parameters and requirements specified in GB/T 1540-2002 paper and paperboard water absorption measurement method. This standard is suitable for determining the water absorption of various paper or paperboard surfaces. It does not apply to the accurate evaluation of the writing performance of paper or cardboard.
Paper and paperboard surface water absorption (Cobb) value: The amount of water absorbed by the surface of the paper and paperboard per unit area under a certain pressure and temperature for a specified time, in g/m2. The specific formula is as follows: C = (G2-G1) x 100. Where: C-bottle water absorption value; G2-sample quality after water absorption
G1-The mass of the sample weighed before water absorption. The paper and board absorbency tester is a conventional instrument for the water absorption test of paper and paperboard, also known as a paper surface absorption weight tester. This instrument uses the Cobb test method in various methods of absorption test, and is therefore also referred to as a bobsorbability tester.
1. The cross-sectional area of the metal cylinder is 100±0.2cm (corresponding inner diameter is 112.8±0.2mm), the cylinder height is 50mm, and the contact surface between the cylinder ring surface and the sample should be smooth.
2. The absorbent paper has a basis weight of 200 to 250 g/m2 and an absorption speed of 75 mm/10 min. When the basis weight of the absorbent paper is less than 200 to 250 g/m2, multiple layers can be used to meet the requirements.
3. Smooth metal flat roll: the length of the roll is 200±0.5mm, and the mass should be 10±0.5kg.
4. Test water consumption: 100mm ± 5ml
