Cartridge Filter Dust Collector
1. Overview
1) Dust collector with filter cartridge is our new generation high efficiency product which absorbs abroad advanced technology, and it has the following advantages:
* We use the filter cartridge, because the density of the material in the filter is big, and the filter area is very large in so small volume, so it can slow down the filter speed,reduce the system resistance, lower the running cost, save the source energy, and the low speed can slow down the damage of the filter material from air flow impacting, it extends the service life of filter.
* There is a pre-dust-collection mechanism in the design, it not only prevents the dust from impacting the filter directly which leads to the filter cartridge damaged, but also greatly improves the dust concentration around the collector entrance.
* The key parts (e.g. pulse valve) which influence the main performance will use the imported parts; the using life of wearing membrane will be more than one million times.
* This machine uses the row-control blowing dust technology, one pulse valve can control to blow one row filter cartridge (each row at most has 12 filter cartridges), this design can greatly reduce the quantity of pulse valve. At the same time the filter cartridge can be easily regenerated, good effect in cleaning, the dust collector with filter cartridge is the updating production which replaces the cloth-bag type.
2) The filter cartridge can be arranged in any combination with different rows according to the installation space; each filter area unit occupies very little three-dimensional space, it can save a large deal of space for the users, and it also directly saves the one-time investment cost for users.
3) The service life of filter cartridge is very long, which can be 2~3 years, greatly reducing the replacing times for cartridge of dust collector (the average service life of traditional bag type collector is only 6 months), it also has the advantage of easy maintenance, greatly reducing the maintenance cost in dairy using.
4) This product is widely used in dust purification and treatment industry, like the ferrous metallurgy, non-ferrous smelting, building cement, machinery casting, grain, chemical, tobacco, warehouse and dock, boiler of industry power station, boiler of heat supply, and city rubbish burning industry.
2. Device structure and work principle
1) Device structure
This dust collector consists of six parts: fire spark catcher, dust collector chamber, ash bucket, frame, ash pulse cleaning, and ash exhaust equipment.
2) Working principle
The dusty air firstly enters into the bottom of the dust collector with the force from the fan, where will have the dust air pretreatment, then goes from bottom up to the top dust collector chamber; Dust will be absorbed on the surface of the filter cartridge, the pure air after filtering will enter into the purified air part in the bottom part of dust collector chamber and then gathered to be exhausted from air outlet.
3) As the filter continually works, more and more dust which be absorbed onto the surface of filter cartridge, the running resistance of the equipment will be increased accordingly. For better protection of system running, the pulse controller will send out instruction by timing or constant resistance to clean the ash.
3. Dust collector selection
1) Confirmation of filter speed
Filter speed is one of the key parameter to select the dust collector, which will be considered according to dust character, particle size, temperature, concentration in different place. In general, the concentration around the entrance is about 15-30g/m3, the filter speed is less than 0.6-0.8m/min; if the concentration of dust is about 5-15g/m3, the filter speed less than 0.8-1.2m/min; if the concentration of dust is less than 5-15g/m3, the filter speed less than 1.5-2m/min. In a word, the selection of filter speed is used for falling down the resistance of equipment, generally the filter speed just not too high.
2) Filter material
CHL type dust collector with filter cartridge use the PS or PSU macromolecule coating fiber filter material, when the temperature of the filter gas less than 100ºC, just use the PS macromolecule coating fiber filter material, if the temperature will be high, the PSU will be better, if you want to use in the special occasion, you had better to declare before ordering, and select another filter material. The high efficiency filter will use the input water resistance glass fiber filter paper.
4. Installation & Adjustment
1) Regarding the transport of the equipment, the goods will be dispatched in the whole body or subsection based on the specification. After receiving the equipment, firstly check whether something is missing as per the checking list, meanwhile checking whether the goods is damaged during the transportation, if something is damaged, which should be repaired immediately to ensure the function of machine is good. And keep the easy-damaged and easy-lost components in good.
2) The installation is from bottom to top, firstly ensuring the flat level, and install the bottom frame, then hoisting the box and ash bucket, after hoisting the chamber of collector, hoisting the high efficiency chamber of collector, at last install the pipe and wire.
3) When installing the air compressed pipe, please ensure the pipe inside is clean and has no block; after installing please check the pressure inside.
4) The electricity should be installed reasonably, the parameter of components in the cabinet should be set according to the demand; the parameter of components will not be adjusted after commissioning and running in good condition.
5) If the dispatched goods are large, we will prepare the installation drawing and instruction.
5. Maintenance and Inspection
1) The collector should have a professional person to do the operating and maintenance, which should completely be familiar with the function and instruction of the collector, find the problem and solve the problem in time, to make sure the system runs in good condition.
2) Transmission part should be checked regularly and added with lubricant, to ensure the transmission parts runs in good condition.
3) If you find the dust is spraying from the dust exhaust opening, it means the cartridge has leakage and should be inspected and replaced timely.
4) The resistance of the collector is about 1400-1600Pa, the cleaning cycle should be adjusted based on the resistance (in general, 1-2 minutes blowing 1 time, the pressure is 0.6MPa)
5) The discharging valve in the lowest part of filter for the air compressed system should be exhausted monthly.
6) One person should be responsible for checking and repairing the control valve, and regularly checking the solenoid valve and impulse valve (monthly). The solenoid valve checking should judge from the moving of the cylinder, the impulse valve checking should judge from the pressure data of the pressure gauge.
7) The air pipe for the impulse valve should be regularly cleaned. (monthly)
8) For ensuring the lead concentration in the discharging air, the filter should be usually checked and changed. Usually, the changing standard should rely on the pressure difference meter to decide whether it reaches the changing time. In the battery industry, the final lost pressure for filter is usually set with about 500Pa. After using a period of time, the needle in the pressure meter will move to the setting value to instruct the working person for filtering. The working person should observe the meter value to ensure whether it needs to be changed. If you find something is damaged, which should be replaced immediately. When changing the filter, the ventilation device should be in stop condition; firstly clean out the damaged filter, and clean the fixed frame and tunnel, and then install the new filter.
