Honeycomb Ceramic Filter also can be called Extruded Ceramic Filters or Molten metal Cellular Filters, are widely used as molten metal filtration in metallurgical and foundry industries. This product has the characters of excellent resistance to thermal shock, high strength, high porosity and specific surface area. With its unique straight channel honeycomb designs, it can increase the specific surface area between molten metal and ceramic filter, thereby to improve its adsorpting and capturing tiny impurities ability, so as to get ride of non-metal impurity and gas, make the metal liquid steady, purify metal liquid. It can not only reduce casting cost, but also improve casting quality.
Honeycomb ceramic is new developed ceramic part. Because of it's features of corrosion resistances, large specific surface area, small heat resistance, good thermal conductivity and excellent thermal-shock resistance, fast heat exchanging and energy saving. It's widely used in many fields. The honeycomb ceramic as the heat exchange media is the key part for heat storing HTAC ( High Temperature Air Combustion) technology. It is the best choice for RTO, heat exchanger and other environmental protection and energy saving products.

*Maximum service temperature 1450° C, it is applied to grey iron, ductile iron and malleable iron
*Grey iron requires cell diameters of less than or equal to 2 mm, spheroidal graphite iron requires cell diameters of 2 mm and greater
*High strength(≥ 15MPa)
*High thermal shock resistance(R-900° C, five cycles no cracking)
*Good resistance to chemical attack and slag and metaql penetration
*With excellent volume effect ad creep resistnce(refractoriness1580° C)

*Pore Density ≤ 400/square inch
Applications:
*Tower packing-high surface area, uniform distribution fluid, high efficiency of mass transfer
*Catalyst carrier-reduce the oxidation temperature of VOA in purification of industrial exhaus gas
*Thermal regenerative packing-good heat capacity, saving energy 40-70%in RTO system
*Gas combustion distributing plate-distribute uniformly and make the combustion complete, saving energy more than 10% refractory kiln furniture-low bulk density, good thermal efficiency
