1. Description of SSIC
Silicon carbide (SiC) is a lightweight ceramic material with high strength properties, excellent thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, and is high resistant to acid corrosion. Silicon carbide is an excellent ceramic material for applications requiring good erosion and abrasive resistance.
Chemshun Silicon carbide mechanical seal rings have excellent corrosion resistance and great mechanical strength under high temperatures and strong wear resistance. We have different types of Seal rings, such as step seal rings, flat silicon carbide rings, groove seal rings ,complex seal rings etc to match customers different requirement.

3 Typical Applications:
Chemshun Silicon Carbide mechanical seal rings used in a wide variety of industries including semiconductor, papermaking, chemical processing and oil and gas production.
Chemshun Ceramics Silicon carbide seal ring is mainly used to prevent oil, water and corrosion,to seal gas, and to prevent leakage. The silicon carbide moving seal ring adopts the same sealing ring as the static seal ring to prevent leakage in the gap between the moving ring and the shaft. The moving ring has a certain floating property to ensure the good fit between moving ring and static ring. When the sealing surface is worn, the moving ring can make axial movement.
