Description:
ELE Continuous Horizontal Single Shaft blenders consists of a cylindrical blending tank vessel with a feeding inlet at one end, a discharge outlet at the other opposite end, a hollow shaft, two end plates which carry flanged end bearing assemblies complete with integrated adjustable shaft sealing unit, and a drive unit complete with power transmission.

Working principle: Ploughshare, paddle or ribbon rotate as blending tools in a special arrangement on the blender single shaft in the blending tank vessel. The result is a turbulence in the mix that constantly involves all the product particles in the blending process. The formation of dead corner or slow-movement zones in the blending tank vessel is prevented ensuring precise & homogeneous blending. In some cases, to obtain the desired blending effect, separately driven high speed chopper(s) can be assembled.
ELE Continuous blenders operate on the principle of a mechanically generated fluid bed. Ploughshare paddle or ribbon blending tools rotate close to the horizontal, cylindrical tank vessel lifting the powder or granule components to be mixed from the product bed into the open blending area. The quality of the mixture is achieved before the product reaches the blender outlet.
