Couple-roller type magnetic separator is a kind of separator that can beneficiate dry non-magnetic powder continuously, it features unique and precise magnetic circuit design, high field intensity and beneficiation effect, low fault, power saving and easy operation, etc.
Couple-roller type magnetic separator can remove pure iron particles, paramagnetic iron particles and weak magnetic particles from non-metallic ores. Due to the unique design, it doesn't need water during process, which can be applied in water shortage areas; furthermore, relevant dewatering and drying units are not necessary during process.

Features of couple-roller type magnetic separator :
1. Power saving. Excitation and motor power refer to technical parameters.
2. Magnetic intensity is adjustable. Max. intensity can reach to 23000Gs,special design of roller surface, field gradient is large, beneficiation effect to fine iron particles is perfect.
3.High iron removing efficiency. Pure iron removing rate can reach 99%,iron oxide removing rate can reach over 50%
4.Simple iron removing technology, low production cost, no dewatering or drying process is needed.
5.Enclosed design, suction inlet is preserved, onsite dust pollution is prevented.
6.Gap of rollers is adjustable, by modifying the gap to cater to different granular size of minerals.
Dry powder has been fed with vibration equipment which distributes the powder on the roller surface evenly, and the feeding capacity is adjustable to make the burden depth of powder is in the fit range, thus the optimum separation effect is guaranteed.
Working principle: see figure below, under working status, the excitation coils have been fed with DC, high gradient flux has been generated. Driving motor will make the two rollers rotate, under the action of gravity, non-magnetic particles will falling vertically whilst the paramagnetic particle will be attracted to the rollers' surface and be carried to non-magnetic field and be swept by the brush, then a cycle of separation is done.
