It's appearance is green with flashing sand or lumpy. Soluble in cold and hot water, highly soluble in alcohol, both appear blue-green.It is yellow in concentrated sulfuricacid, dilutedturnintodark red; Orange in concentrated nitric acid,diluted turninto orange brown .
