Features

1. mechanical strength: boron nitride has low mechanical strength, superior to graphite at room temperature, but higher brittleness than oxide ceramics.

4. thermal properties: boron nitride ceramics can be used in about 1000ºC of oxidation atmosphere and nearly 3000ºC of inert atmosphere. it is a refractory with higher fire than mullite, alumina and silicon carbide. At the same time heat-resistant impact is large, in 1500ºC of repeated rapid cooling and heat, no rupture, very stable.
