Dissolved Air Flotation Introduction
Dissolved air flotation adopts 5 patent technologies such as micro bubble generating, subsurface capturing, laminar flow principle, multilevel sequencing batch coagulating and scum cycle flocculating to make a high efficient separation of the suspend solids in the sewage. The air melts into the water under the pressure, and then release the air by reducing the pressure to generate large amount of micro bubbles, these bubbles interacts with the suspending solids and forming a kind of mixture with overall specific gravity smaller than 1 and flow up to the water surface due to the flotage, forming the scum while the clean water flows downward, separately collect the scum and clean water to complete a solid-liquid separation.
Dissolved Air Flotation Work Process
The wastewater enter RT1 (coagulation reaction tank) and RT2 (flocculation reaction tank) from the equalization tank through the lift pump, and coagulates with PAC floculates with (PAM) respectively form the flocs.
Then the wastewater and dissolved water enter the reaction zone of the DAF tank, and the microbubbles and flocs in the dissolved water are mixed and adhered to form solid particles ,which the density less than water, and float up to the surface of the DAF tank .
Under the action of buoyancy, scum is scraped to the slag tank. The clean water is collected down to the collect tank through the water collecting pipe, and most of the outer water is discharged (or into the next process), and a small part of the water is recirculated to form the dissolved water.
