How Or Where Do I Mount The Sensor?

Location of your outdoor Temperature/ Temperature-Humidity Sensors is important.

Note: Temporarily secure sensors in place for a few hours before permanently mounting them, to be sure they will read to your clock or weather station from that location.

1) Mount the sensor vertically at least 6 feet off the ground.

2) Provide good airflow around the sensor.

3) Direct sunlight can inflate the temperature reading, so a north-side, shaded location is best.

4) Be aware of heat sources such as soffit or dryer vents, windows or door frames.
