Disc Thickener for Pulp and Paper Mill Using
It is widely used for washing and inspissation of low consistency pulp in the pulp and paper industry. The working principle relies on the distance between pulp level of disc filter wire outside and white water level inside for gravity dehydration. The 0.8-1.2% consistency of pulp is stick on the scan sector and white water flow out of wall board from guide water rails to two sides of hollow shaft. The pulp of disc face is climbed down by high pressure water. When the pulp level is higher than gate of adjustable valve, it will leak out of tank and the outlet consistency is about 3-4%. Outlet consistency and product capacity can be measured by rotation speed of main shaft.
