The taper gauge of drill chuck is a kind of taper gauge. The taper gauge is used to check the taper angle,

taper diameter, etc. of the taper parts of various industrial machinery parts, tools, etc.

in order to ensure the interchangeability of life as the taper parts.

The taper gauge is mainly used for spindle and center hole of lathe, cylindrical grinder, spindle hole of drilling machine,

drill, reamer handle and sleeve.

Cone gauge has such methods as drawing line at reference position, cutting at reference position and cutting at boundary.

Although cone diameter can be checked by either method, cone gauge generally uses drawing line at reference position to measure.
