LW drilling mud decanter centrifuges are designed specifically to remove unwanted solids and fine particles from virtually all kinds of used frilling mud, including those based on water/synthetics and conventional oil-based drilling fluids.
Drilling muds are based on water, oil pr polymer with a composition of various additives such as flocculents, surfactants, detergents and more. By means of modern drilling mud system includes decanter centrifuge, cutting dryers, shakers, etc, everything brought into the mud by the frilling process will be separated. The clarified mud will be returned to the drilling rig

Working Principle Separation takes place in the horizontal bowl equipped with a scroll conveyor. The drilling mud is feed into the bowl through a stationary inlet tube and is smoothly accelerated in the accelerate chamber. Centrifugal forces cause instant sedimentation of the solids on the wall of bowl. The conveyor rotates in the same direction as the bowl, but a different speed, thus moving the solids towards the conical end of
