Product Features

Needle mat is a new fiberglass reinforcement product. The needle mat is made from continuous fiberglass strands or chopped fiberglass strands randomly looped and laid on a conveyer belt, then needle stitched together.

1. No binder or other knitting material used to bond the mat together.

2. Good resin flow ability and impregnation capability. No white strands.

3. Strand has good resistance to wash ability and suitable for RTM, GMT and other molding processes, 20N/100MM.

4. The mat is suitable for thick molded components because of its strong tenacity.

5. Needle mat easily fills the mold and conforms to complex shapes, while

providing a smooth finished surface.

6. The mat is fluey and convenient for running.

Product Application

1.Needle Mat is primarily used in fiberglass molding processes such as GMT, RTM, AZDEL.

2.Typical products are used for some craft works such as injection, pressing, mould compression, pultrusion and lamination.

3.Fiberglass needle mat can be applied on all kinds of electrical appliances, such as small home appliances, toaster,electric frying pan,Micro oven,air conditioner as the thermal insulation pad.

4.The feature that fiberglass needle mat used in the silencer has: high rate of porosity, high rate of porosity, low thermal conductivity. Moreover,fiber glass mat has good performance at heat insulation (700°C), corrosion resistance and high tenacity.Thus, it has been widely used in automobile, motorcycle muffler area among many car makes big country. The theory is as follows: First, the use of its excellent sound insulation properties to achieve noise reduction; second, owing to the use of its good thermal insulation properties, the chemical reaction of the hybrid gas can be carried out fully in the exhaust pipe under the high temperature environment, then achieve low exhaust emissions.

5.The surface of the fiberglass needle mat can be coated with aluminum foil or plastic sheets, fiber cloth and so on.Then,after being processed into strip,it can be used for the the thermal insulation and protection of the hot and cold pipes and underground pipes,Moreover,it can be applied to the heat insulation and sound insulation of color-coated steel tile ,generator etc.

6.Fiberglass needle mat immersed in resin processed into plate can be used as thermal insulation sound insulation materials for housing construction and air-conditioning.
