How To Use A Dermaroller
Different lengths of needles can have different effects. So you can according to your need to choose befitting length.
0.2--0.3mm derma roller
0.25 mm--0.3mm is the most mild and un-serious of the needle lengths. Unable to stimulate collagen growth, this length is strictly used in order to help skin care products to achieve a more beneficial impact. No bleeding or pain is experienced as a result of 0.25 mm needling. So if you are using derma roller for the first time, you can choose it.
0.5mm derma roller
0.5 mm derma rollers are used to treat shallow and superficial damage to skin. Still on the short side, 0.5 mm needles can cause some minimal pain and bleeding, and can only trigger minor collagen growth.
0.75--1.0mm deerma roller
An ideal solution for wrinkles, scars, and stretchmarks, the 0.75 to 1.0 range is when we start to see some serious derma rolling-impact. A greater recovery time between needle treatments is required (4 to 7 days) due to the increased invasive nature of the session, and moderate bleeding is not uncommon.
1.5 to 3.0 mm Dermaroller
It should be used under professional guidance. It is a serious skin treatment that would-be users need to understand the risks of. A painful and bloody treatment even in the best-case scenario, 1.5+ mm treatments are used to treat the most severe scarring, stretch marks, and skin ailments - this treatment is more often used on the body than the face, due to the intense redness and bleeding it has been known to cause.
Before start to use derma roller, you should clean the treatment area, and sterilize the derma roller head with medical alcohol. Then use derma roller moving slowly and steadily, roll the device over your skin, making six to eight passes over the same area, in one direction. Each treatment should take 10-20 minutes, depending on your skin type and the size of the treatment area.
After treatment, sterilize derma roller again and store it in the protect box. Don't wash the treatment area until half an hour and avoid makeup in the next three days. Do not let the treatment skin under the sunlight.
How Often Should You Use the Derma Roller System for the Best Results?
On the average, your skin takes about three to four weeks to repair and rebuild. Undergoing the process before the skin is fully healed interrupts the entire healing process and makes the Derma Roller counterproductive. The frequency of your treatments depends on the needle length of your derma roller.
You can safely use the following needle lengths within their corresponding time frames:

Needle LengthFrequency0.5mmUp to Five Times per Week1.0mm to 1.5mmonce Every Three to Four Weeks2.0mm to 2.5mmonce Every Four to Five Weeks

Make sure you give your skin time to recover between sessions. This is a guide only, and each individual's skin is different, so perform treatments only when your skin feels healed and ready.
