Stick curtain wall is a frame supported curtain wall, for which mullions, transoms, and panel are installed on site in a proper order. The panel materials are processed into unit components in the factory and then fixed on the frame which consist of mullions and transoms. The load received by the unit components of the panel materials will be transmitted to the main structure via the mullions(or transoms).
Stick glazed curtain wall is classified as following;
1. Exposed frame curtain wall; It is a frame supported curtain wall and components of the metal frame are visible on the exterior of the panel.
2. Hidden frame curtain wall; It is a frame supported curtain wall and components of the metal frame are completely invisible on the exterior panel.
3. Semi-hidden frame curtain wall; It is a frame supported curtain wall and vertical or horizontal components of the metal frame are visible on the exterior panel.
