Product Description

Air release valve continuously vents entrained air thereby improving pressure efficiency and preventing fire pump cavitation. It is fitted at the top of the pump casing with a float to sense the presence of air. When air enters and displaces the water, it allows the float to drop, and the air releases to the atmosphere through orifice. Then water comes in again, raising the float and closing the orifice.
