Iron-Chrome-Aluminium resistance electrical heating alloy has such specialties as high resistivity, small resistance temperature quotiety and high use temperqture. Under high temperature, with good corrosion stability, it is especially applicable to work in the air with sulfur and sulfide. The price is reasonable, so it is the ideal heating material used for industrial electric furnace and oven, household appliances and far-infrared devices.
Fe-Cr-Al (Iron-Chromium-Aluminum) alloys are available as wire, strip, welded and seamless tubes; All these product forms are available from stock for fast deliveries. The high aluminum content, in combination with the high chromium content causes the scaling temperature to increase up to 1425 º C (2600F ); Under the headline heat resistance, these FeCrAl alloys are compared with commonly used Fe and Ni base alloys. As can be seen from that table, the FeCrAl alloys have superior properties as compared to the other alloys.
FeCrAl alloys are widely used in industrial electrical furnace, electrical oven, home appliance, electrical heator, infrared settings, etc.
Max contineous working temperature: 1250 º C
Melting Temperature: 1500 º C
Electric Resistivity: 1.42+-0.07 ohm mm2/m
Diameter: 0.01mm-10mm
Has been used extensively as heating elements in industrial furnaces and electrical kilns.
Has less hot strength than Tophet alloys but much higher melting point.
