Product Description:
Fiberglass needle mat is a new fiberglass reinforcement product. The needle mat is made from continuous fiberglass strands or chopped fiberglass strands randomlylooped and laid on a conveyer belt, then needle stitched together. Needle Mat is primarily used in fiberglass molding processes such as GMT, RTM, etc. Typical products are automotive running boards, architectural panels, large industrial panels and other FRP products.

Characteristics :

1. No binder or other knitting material used to bond the mat together.2. Good resin flowability and impregnation capability. No white strands.3. Strand has good resistance to wash ability and suitable for RTM, GMT and other
molding processes, 20 N/100 MM.4. The mat is suitable for thick molded components because of its strong tenacity.5. Needle mat easily fills the mold and conforms to complex shapes, while
providing a smooth finished surface.6. The mat is fluey and convenient for running.

Application:
1) Needle Mat is primarily used in fiberglass molding processes such as GMT,
RTM, AZDEL.
2) Typical products are used for some craftworks such as injection, pressing,
mould compression, pultrusion and lamination.
Silica Fiberglass Felt
Description

ØSilica Fiberglass Felt is made from high silica fiberglass chopped strands through carding and needling process. The silica fibers randomly distribute and wind together during needling process. Silica needled mat possesses 3D structureand highly pore structure with high void content.
Silica Fiberglass Felt with low thermal conductivity, high heat resistance and good acoustic resistance are excellent high temperature insulators. It can be used over long periods without losing the properties and without melting and vaporising at temperatures of up to 1000ºC, and short-time exposure up to 1300°C.
Application

Ø Silica Fiberglass Felt is widely used in following field.
1. Filtration material: high temperature gas and liquid metallurgy industry.
2. Thermal resistance material: aircraft and aerospace industries, and other electro- and chemical industries industry.
3. Acoustic material: thermal and acoustic insulation applications in automotive and exhaust systems.

ØSilica Fiberglass Felt has following characteristics.
1. Health safety: no toxic gases emit, no carcinogenic fiber
2. Low thermal conductivity, high electrical insulation properties at elevated temperature
3. High heat resistance as high as 1000ºC
4. Good acoustic insulation at high temperature
5. Good chemical resistance: inert to majority of chemical reagents, resistant to most acids, weak alkali, alkali salt.
