Hot Tub Positioning:
Position your Hot Tub in an area that is very well supported and solid enough to take the weight of the tub including the water and the people enjoying the product, you could take advice from a structural engineer or your builder if in any doubt.

A concrete base should be at least 4" thick and it not advisable to put your Hot tub on an elevated wooden platform without sound advice, again due to weight issue, the general message is "these things are heavy".

Electrical Supply :
You should leave the installation of the power supply to a professional. As a reference the power supply should be in the range of 13-30 amps and the power source itself must be wired through a RCD device (Residual Current Device) or if that is not possible through a circuit breaker. For security purposes the power source itself must be located at least 2 meters away from the hot tub. Safety Considerations
Electricity and water represent a big hazard, this is why on an area of 3 meters around the hot tub there shouldn't be any overhead power lines. The access to the control panel and the equipment itself should also be easy in case of an emergency.

How much does the running of the hot tub cost?
