China Friendly EPDM Granule

EPDM granules provide a durable, cohesive, non-toxic and environmentally friendly track surface which meet the rigorous athletic standards set by the International Amateur Athletic Federation (IAAF).
Heavy metals such as lead and mercury, have been a component of many track systems. Today, schools are making the switch to running tracks that are free of heavy metal hazards. The Poly-Resin technology employed has no need for heavy metal components. Tests indicate the safety of the products that they are not any mercury or lead hazard.
EPDM rubber granules can be divided into two kinds of sulfur vulcanization and DCP (Peroxide) vulcanization system. DCP (Peroxide) vulcanization good high temperature resistance, the pressure becomes smaller, but tensile strength is poor. The pressure of sulfur vulcanization becomes large, good strength, high temperature difference. Time of DCP (Peroxide) vulcanization should be longer than sulfur vulcanization. Generally based on the saturation of gum to choose, sulfur vulcanization can improve the tensile strength, DCP (Peroxide) vulcanization can increase resistance to aging, but it have their own characteristics.
