Geotechnical filter screen is a kind of black mesh geotechnical material. Geotechnical filter screen is a new type of landfill filter material produced from polymer materials such as polypropylene or polyethylene. It is mainly used in underground drainage filtration, seepage filtration on the surface of sealed landfill and leachate filtration collection.
Geotechnical filter screen is composed of plastic mesh with three-dimensional structure and permeable geotextile bonded on both sides. It can replace the traditional sand and gravel layer and is mainly used for drainage of refuse landfill, roadbed and tunnel inner wall.
In railway, highway and other transportation infrastructure, the engineering and service life are closely related to their own drainage systems, of which geosynthetics are an important component.

Geotechnical filter screen is made of single polymer or permeable geotextile made of polymer material compounded by mechanical consolidation, chemical and other bonding methods. The standard geotextile filter screen shall comply with the urban construction standard cj/t437-2013. The longitudinal fracture strength of geotextile filter screen shall be ≥45kn and the transverse fracture strength shall be ≥ 45kN whether it is used for groundwater drainage or leachate drainage in landfill.
