1. General Introduction of HPL Honeycomb Panels
HPL honeycomb panel is a kind of lightweight sandwich panel composed of high pressure laminate as face material and aluminum honeycomb or plastic honeycomb as the core. HPL(Decorative High Pressure Laminate)is made of resin impregnated cellulose layers, which are consolidated under heat and high pressure. This material offers good fire resistance, and the composite panel is always used in ship and vessel decoration. The HPL faces (skins) are available in different thicknesses and colors.
HPL laminate can be bonded directly onto the honeycomb cores, or you can choose to add aluminum layer between the honeycomb and HPL.

Standard sheet size is 4ft by 8ft, 1220x2440mm, we can customize any other sizes at your request.
The laminate we commonly used is Formica Laminate, you can also send colors of your needed HPL sheet we will find in our market.

The HPL honeycomb panel doesn't contain any toxic materials, doesn't radiate, which is an important property for home decoration or furniture making to achieve a healthy environment. Even it is out of usage, almost all the materials can be recycled, thus effectively protecting the environment.
Sound proof and thermal insulation
The hexagonal honeycomb structure can absorb sound quite well, good at sound damping and sound proof. Due to the air inside the core structure, HPL honeycomb panel can retard thermal transmission to some degrees.
