1. Heat soak test is a selective process which allows tempered glass to break in the heat soak furnace, and the percentage of spontaneous breakage will be greatly reduced.
2. Use the heat strengthened glass instead of tempered glass
Although heat soak test can not eliminate the spontaneous breakage of the tempered glass, it will greatly reduce the chance of tempered glass breaking.
The stress of the glass will slightly drop after the heat soak test. Because there is no specific way to identify whether if the glass has already been heat soaked, it is advised to select glass manufactures with well reputation to conduct the test.
