Friction Liner is one of the main components of mullti - rope friction hoist, which is PVC and CPUR previously. Friction coefficient of PVC is low (0.28). CPUR has better abrasion resistance than PVC, however, its friction coefficient is 0.20~0.23 and difficult to be machined, has unstable quality due to process reason and found melted in service course, so CPUR is only used with friction coefficient of 0.20~0.23. All the friction Liner with more than 0.25 friction coefficient used in home - made multi - rope hoist needs to be imported overseas, which is very expensive and the import duration time is very long.
GM - 3 high performance friction liner researched and developed from 1997 has met above requirement and passed the provincial technical appraisal on Sep. 12th, 2001.
Technical Characteristics:
1. All the friction coefficients of GM - 3 in various conditions are more than 0.25, even more than 0.28 tested by China Mining University and Luoyang Mining Machinery Engineering Design and Research Institute, which completely fulfills the requirements of multi - rope friction hoist.
2. High mechanical strength, thermal resistance and melting resistance better than imported liner, no material damaging steel wire rope, being easy to machine groove in worksite.
3. Be better matched with friction fat whether which is home-made or imported . Ailisi 400 is the beat friction fat.
4. Price is more competitive than imported liner, and bring Customer better economic benefit.
5. Test results show its thermal resistance, melting resistance and abrasion resistance are better than imported liner, and the abrasion per power is equivalent to imported liner.
