Product description
HTV silicone rubber is a 1-component, ready to use, peroxide curing compound that cures to an electrical insulating, highly erosion resistive silicone elastomer.
Special features:
- high resistance against tracking and erosion
- very good arc resistance
- excellent hydrophobicity behaviour
- suitable dielectric properties
- good mechanical properties
Application
The curing silicone rubber of choice to manufacture all types of electrical insulating equipment for outdoor use, e.g. composite insulators, arrester housings, bushings etc.
Processing
Can be processed using compression, transfer or injection molding.
