Structural Feature
The puncture type arrester with external series gap designed cleverly is easy to install to good effects.
The puncture gear in puncture electrode is made in the shape of asterisk so that it can not only puncture wire' s insulating layer, but also reduce damage to the wire. On the wire there is a cover designed to prevent the tensile strength of wire from being reduced when the wire is under the strain.
The arrester uses high-performance metal oxide resistor which has a good nonlinear volt-ampere characteristics so it can release over voltage and has a low residual voltage.
It is safer to use insulating shield which wraps puncture electrode and cover.
Semi-spherical electrode and arrester can be easy to replace, install and maintain.Service Conditions
