Introduction of Anti-Vacuum Accident Protection Device
Our new technology, JST168, the Anti-Vacuum Accident Protection Device, is the matching equipment for the tanks used in the industries like biological,medicine,food,chemicals, etc. It can effectively prevent the destructive accident because of vacuum generates in the tank.

I. Precautions for Installation:
JST168 Anti-Vacuum Protection Device needs to be installed on the top of the tank. But before that we need to install a ball valve with internal screw at the highest position of the tank first. The connection must be at least 200mm above the top of the tank. Ensure the device inside must be clean before using. It must be free from glue or dust inside the device to prevent the movement of the device being blocked or affected. The device is only suitable for steam, gas, chemical gas, air, oil, biomedical food and other industries of clean liquid gas medium inside the tank.
For the installation, if the medium in the tank is pure and clean, please install the device according to (figure 1); if the tank has mixing medium, in order to prevent the valve, please install the device according to (figure 2).
II. Attentions for debugging:
When the valve is installed on the tank as shown in figure 1 or figure 2, unscrew the device cover as shown in figure 3 before debugging.
1. Rotate the "Debugging nut" and observe the "Maintenance signal bar", the bar will be moving up, when it reaches to certain height, stop and reverse the nut until the signal rod slightly goes downward about 1~2mm, stop rotating, and lock the Debugging nut;
2. Check the pressure gauge of the tank, when the pressure inside the tank is higher than that of the atmosphere,fill the water into the hole till it leaks out;
3. Lightly press the signal bar as indicated by arrow (FIG. 3). Ensure the signal bar is floating;
4. Check the tank pressure gauge from time to time. When the tank pressure is higher than atmospheric pressure, fill with water through the hole again. Be careful do not let the water run to the inside of the tank this time. Then cover the device, debugging is completed.
III. Maintenance
1. The number of maintenance times per year depends on the installation environment and working conditions. Normally, the maintenance cycle is three to six months. However, it is necessary to ensure that the inner cavity of the device is clean. Dirts are strictly prohibited. Our Cleaning Filter can help clean the medium and our new-tech Tube Scope device can be used to observe and check the medium;
2. Step: first unscrew the cover of the device to expose the maintenance Signal Bar (FIG. 3), and then gently press the Signal Bar 5~8mm downward with finger, if the Bar restores to the position right after release of finger, it means OK; If it restores slowly, can pull the Signal Bar up down several times, and clean the relevant parts with air gun until the Bar moves flexibly. If it still does not work, please release and remove relevant parts of the Bar and clean till it works normally. Please keep the medium in clean condition and ensure the device with safe and reliable performance, to prevent any accident that might happen.
