Our Φ4.2x13 double slipper pebble mill is the domestic first mill that has fundamentally resolved the difficulty of "cannot run continually due to overheating of sliding shoe bearing bush at the discharge end" compared with similar products, which therefore won the national Utility Model Patent, patent NO.ZL201020285841.9

The product of the CHAENG ( Great Wall Machinery ) production steel slag vertical roller mill is the equipment to grind Ground Granulated Blast furnace Slag into small particles . steel slag(fineness:4200-4500cm2/g) produced by vertical roller mills are being used to substitute clinker in conventional cement manufacturing as well as to partially replace OPC for ready-mixed concrete production, for which the percentage of GGBS usage is typically at 10-15% and 20-25% respectively.
Steel slag is the waste residue in the process of steel making, including converter slag and electric furnace slag, approximately takes 15-20 percent of crude steel capacity , It occupies a large proportion of industrial waste.

Slag Powder Grinding Plant Process Description
Forklift will transfer the steel slag from the slag pile, then the slag will transported to the weighting silo.
during the transportation, the steel slag will be magnetized and sieved to remove the iron parts. The pre-processed slag then fed to the vertical mill by the elevator for grinding.
After grinding, the steel slag will be classified and dried by the hot air generator.
The required steel slag powder then to be collected by the dust collector and transferred to the final product ware house by air delivery chute and elevator.

Suggestions for the equipment selection
CHAENG already has more than 100 customers currently, and almost 80% of them built slag grinding plant with annual capacity of 1,000,000 tons, 600,000 tons, 300,000 tons. Below table has shown the three main equipment in aspects of model selection, energy consumption and so on.

Advantages of blast furnace slag production line
1) The combined classifier improves the powder selection efficiency.
2) It is not necessary to distribute material on the grinding plate before start-up. The roller can be lifted up and down automatically and start without load.
3) It is well sealed by welded arc plate and structure is simple and reliable
4) With the help of roller turning device, it is easily to turn the roller out for maintenance.
5) Both sides of roller sleeve can be used so that the service life of refractory material is extended.
6) Grinding roller limit device can ensure a certain space between roller and grinding table, which avoids the direct friction and collision between roller and grinding table and enhances safety
7) The grinding roller is driven by spinning grinding table. Pressure filling and adjustment and roller lifting can be remotely controlled without operator on-site.
8) The roller bearing is circularly lubricated by thin oil to enable it to work under low temperature and clean grease so that the service life is extended

In November, 2015, chairman of Indonesia Growth Steel Group came to CHAENG and signed the EPC Turkey Project contract of 300,000 t/y nickel slag grinding plant.
In May 2016, the vertical mill, auxiliary machine, and accessories of 300,000 t/y nickel slag grinding plant ordered by Indonesia Growth Steel Group were sent to Indonesia;
In September 2016, the project design, civil construction and equipment manufacturing of 300,000 t/y nickel slag grinding plant for Indonesian Growth Steel Group has been successfully completed, equipment installation and commissioning work were also near the end.
On November 3, 2016, 300,000 t/y nickel slag grinding plant EPC project of Indonesia was completed and put into production!
