The Swan chair was designed in 1958 for the lobby and lounge areas of the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The Swan chair came from Jacobsen's search for a curved fluid form which required minimum padding while remaining lightweight without losing comfort. It is a technologically innovative chair with no straight lines; only curves. Regularly seen in hotels bars and homes worldwide, this piece has nevertheless retained the aura of exclusivity that has made it a modern classic.

Our Swan chair is supported by an extremely durable moulded fibreglass inner shell padded with high density foam and covered in classic wool upholstery (just as found in the original version). The chair is mounted on a 4-star high grade stainless steel base with a mirror shine. The chair can perform a 360° swivel function.
