What is Basalt Fiber?
The raw materials of basalt are selected, crushed, put into a smelting furnace at a high temperature of 1450ºC-1600ºC, then draw into the continuous fiber through a high-speed drawing machine with a 200-600 hol platinum-rhodium alloy bushing.
What is Basalt Fiber Fabric?
Basalt fiber cloth are woven by basalt continuous yarn (Dia. 7-13μm), the specification can be customer based. Basalt fabrics can be divided into plain cloth, check cloth, twill cloth, satin cloth and unidirectional cloth…etc. The basalt fiber fabrics have the property of non combustible, smokeless, high temperature resistance, no toxic gas emission, when coupled with a good heat insulation, high tensile strength, no melting and thermal contraction.

What is the advantage of basalt fiber?
Basalt fiber grogrid can either be used in the ultra high-temperature or ultra low-temperature environmental conditions.
Can prevent the cracks of asphalt pavement and resist bio erosion and climate change effectively.
It also has good heat stability and will not have creep at long term.
It posses good consistency when mixed with bituminous mixture. Because the mixing temperature in bituminous mixture is high over 190ºC, the basalt fiber can resist to elevated temperature, have very competitive superiority compared with present variety reinforce meshes.
