NO.7001 DFO and ninhydrin development control cabinet

1. Purpose:

1) Develop ninhydrin-treated latent sweat fingerprint.

2) Develop DFO-treated latent sweat fingerprint.

3) Develop 1,2-indanedione-treated latent sweat fingerprint.

2. Description:

The fuming chamber has a heat preservation function, and is internally equipped with the heater, humidifier, circulating fan, temperature sensor and humidity sensor. These elements are controlled by the microcomputer program, so that the chamber can produce condition suitable for development of fingerprints treated by ninhydrin and DFO. The user can modify the parameters.

3. Specification:

1) Default parameters for ninhydrin development: temperature 80°C, relative humidity 80%, 30 minutes.

2) Default parameters for DFO development: temperature 100°C, 20 minutes

3) Dimensions: 685x430x380mm

4) Dimensions of fuming chamber: 530 x 385 x 298mm, 60L

5) Humidification method: water evaporation by electric heating

6) Heating method: quartz heater

4. Ninhydrin development method:

1) Immerse the exhibit in the ninhydrin solution or spray the solution onto the exhibit. After the solution volatilizes, place the exhibit on the exhibit holder of the fuming chamber and close the door.

2) Switch on the chamber, press the button to select the ninhydrin mode, then set the development time, press the "START" button to begin the development process. The temperature inside the chamber will reach and maintain at 80°C, the relative humidity will reach and maintain at 80%.

3) When the development time is up, the fuming chamber automatically stops and the buzzer sounds.

4) The user can observe the development effect through the transparent glass door and press the "STOP" button at any time to terminate the developing process.

5. DFO development method:

1) Immerse the exhibit in the DFO solution or spray the solution onto the exhibit. After the solution volatilizes, place the exhibit on the exhibit holder of the fuming chamber and close the door.

2) Turn the power on, press the button to select the DFO mode, then set the development time, press the "START" button to begin the development process. The temperature inside the chamber will reach and maintain at 100°C.

3) When the development time is up, the fuming chamber automatically stops and the buzzer sounds.

4) The user can observe the development effect through the transparent glass door and press the "STOP" button at any time to terminate the developing process.
