Our company adopts metamax fiber from Amrican and Japan to produce metamax (aramide) needle felt. Aramide has two types meta-aramid and para-aramid. metamax is the mixture of 95% m-aramid and 5% p-aramid. metamax needle felt is meta-aramid fiber invented and manufactured by Haotian industrail. NOMEX fibers are from the generic fiber group called meta-aramid. Another brand name from this fiber group is ConEX and NOMEX. .
Temperature resistant: 204~240°C
metamax needle felt can operate in a continuous temperature of 400°F (204°C) with an excursion up to 425°F (240°C) before thermal degradation occurs.
