Sun Hong press roll Product Description
The press section of paper machine mostly use plain press rolls. As the speed of the paper machine increases, vacuum press rolls and groove press rolls are used. In the 1970s, blind press rolls and Control high-roll and other forms.
After absorbing the advantages of vacuum press roll, groove roll and blind hole roll, several other new types of press roll appeared subsequently.
The lower roll of the plain press roll is a cast iron roll covered with rubber.
In addition to providing the corrosion resistance of the press roll, the rubber cover is more important to provide good elasticity, and to ease the pressing effect of the upper press roll on the wet paper and the felt, thereby extending the life of the felt and reducing the "pressing" of the wet paper. The elastic rubber-coated lower roller can also give good contact between the two rollers, uniform dewatering effect, and compensate for the high error in the lower pressure roller.
The rubber hardness of rubber rollers when producing general paper is usually 70 to 90 Shore hardness. The hardness of the rubber rollers used in each press of the press section increases with the increase of the pressure of each press line.
