samarium-cobalt (SmCo) magnets are brittle, and prone to cracking and chipping. Samarium-cobalt magnets have maximum energy products (BHmax) that range from 16 megagauss-oersteds (MGOe) to 33 MGOe, approx. 128 kJ/m3 to 264 kJ/m3; their theoretical limit is 34 MGOe, about 272 kJ/m3
The advantage is the maximum operating temperature up to 300ºC and its good corrosion and oxidation resistance. Samarium Cobalt Magnets, therefore do not need to be coated. It is widely used in motors, meters, sensors, detectors, engine, rada and other high-tech fields.

1, What is information we need before quotation for Smco magnet?
Before our quotation, usually we need the following information.

Normally 50% deposit, and 50% payment before shipment. Because all of magnets are custom made.
Packaging&Shipping:
1)By Sea: As the magnets have very strong power and attraction, and then we will use the plastic part to separate the magnets of each other , it will avoid someone will be hurt when take it out. Then, they will be packed in a small white box , several boxes to be a carton. And all of cartons will be packed into pallets, and then we will use truck to transport them to China custom warehouse
2) By Air: If the goods will be shipped by air, all the magnetic should be degaussed and we will use Iron sheet to shield.
